Job Overview

As Associate Marketing Manager World Travel Retail working at the Hershey company, you will play a key role in the comprehensive management of the portfolio to achieve growth targets, responsible for executing plans in a timely and efficient way. In this role, you will benefit from gaining global experience with a primary focus on the Americas region, leading innovation and portfolio management projects for Hershey’s iconic global brands including HERSHEY’s, KISSES, REESE’S and more. Responsibilities include developing and executing strategic marketing plans, monitoring brand performance, profitability and budget, monthly business reviews, and leading/participating in cross functional teams to develop and commercialize successful marketing programs.

To effectively perform their duties, the Assistant Marketing Manager must be proficient in all of the following qualities:

Accountabilities
  • Plan and execute innovation, renovation and cost improvement projects in partnership with cross functional team to enable delivery of ambitious growth plans
  • Support portfolio management initiatives for the Americas region (including extensions & rationalization)

Brand Performance Analysis:

  • Partner with Insights team & manage research agencies to monitor brand performance data
  • Partner with Insights team & research agencies to monitor category trends (and commission bespoke research where needed) and partner with cross functional teams to deliver insightful action plans

Brand Marketing:

  • Plan and execute trade press and other customer or consumer facing activities in partnership with internal stakeholders
  • Partner with Trade Marketing teams to develop & deliver impactful activations
  • Develop media proposals for key airports with leading media providers

Personal Development:

  • Responsible and committed to training and development plan
  • Develop strong team and cross-functional relationships internally and with agency partners
  • Bachelors Degree in Business (marketing or related major preferred)
  • At least 4-5 years of marketing experience in FMCG or similarly disciplined industry
