Job description

Volunteer Girls Volleyball Coach (Grades 4 - 8, JV and Varsity)
Most Holy Trinity Catholic Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Volunteer Volleyball Coach to lead our student-athletes during the fall volleyball season. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with students and is passionate about developing both athletic skills and character.

August 10, 2026 through the end of October 31, 2026
Reports To
  • Athletic Director
  • Principal
Responsibilities
  • Plan and lead volleyball practices.
  • Develop players' fundamental volleyball skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence.
  • Coach the team during games and tournaments.
  • Create a positive, encouraging, and safe environment for all student-athletes.
  • Communicate practice and game schedules with players and families.
  • Ensure student-athletes represent the school with integrity and respect.
  • Follow all school and athletic policies and procedures.
Practice Schedule
The coach has the flexibility to establish practice days and times based on gym availability and their personal schedule. Practices should adequately prepare the team for competition throughout the season.
Qualifications
  • Experience playing and/or coaching volleyball is preferred.
  • Ability to work positively with elementary and middle school students.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Commitment to modeling good sportsmanship and character.
  • Willingness to support the mission and values of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Academy.
  • Must successfully complete all required volunteer screening and safe environment requirements prior to the start of the season.
