Overview

The IT Support Technician reports to the Director of School Operations and is responsible for day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for operating systems, workstations and servers. This individual will also perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and various software packages as well as monitor and optimize systems to achieve desired performance levels. Additionally, this person will be responsible for IT support within the school. This position requires flexibility and discretion in supporting a diverse population.


Employment Schedule: 12-months, full-time


Duties and Responsibilities

Essential functions of the position may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Desktop/Server Installation/Maintenance;
  • Preparing requisitions for missing parts;
  • End-User Technology Support through our ticket system;
  • Professional development as requested;
  • Coordinating audio-visual needs for school wide events;
  • Design the Morning Announcement Presentation Show in coordination with the Activities Director;
  • Providing needed software or links to labs including, but not limited to: Vision, Mavis Beacon, USA Test Prep, IReady, Rosetta Stone, FSA/EOC Needs;
  • Information Systems Maintenance & Network Management;
  • Operating system upgrades;
  • Server management; including network backups;
  • Data and Information Security;
  • Paper Cut management;
  • Setting up group emails;
  • Inventory of all Technology Equipment;
  • Tech Inventory for Charter Tools & State Reporting;
  • Security Cameras;
  • Assigned to the appropriate end-users;
  • PR Duties;
  • Provide for a yearly technology evening for parents;
  • Registration Day support.

Full-time IT Support Technicians are eligible for the following benefits:

  • Base Salary

Total Possible Compensation Package: $50,050.00
