Job Description
oversight, development, and optimization of the Student Information System (SIS), with a primary focus on Anthology Student and integrated Financial Aid systems. This role collaborates cross-functionally with Academic Affairs, Enrollment, Financial Aid, and IT teams to ensure that the student systems infrastructure supports institutional goals, regulatory compliance, and a superior student experience.
Job Responsibilities:
SIS Strategy and Operations
• Provide leadership and vision for the administration and continuous improvement of Anthology Student SIS.
• Lead the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of SIS functionality in alignment with business processes and academic policies.
• Lead the strategic planning, implementation, and continuous optimization of the institution's SIS to align with academic, administrative, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless SIS integration with other enterprise systems.
• Oversee SIS governance, data integrity, and user access management to ensure policy and FERPA compliance.
• Analyze system performance and recommend enhancements to improve the user experience.
• Lead the operational roadmap including upgrades, feature rollouts, and change management.
• Provide executive-level reporting on SIS utilization and data trends.
Financial Aid Systems Leadership
• Manage technical and operational support of Financial Aid modules within Anthology.
• Partner with Financial Aid leadership for regulatory updates and compliance.
• Facilitate automation for packaging, awarding, verification, and disbursement.
Project and Vendor Management
• Liaise with Anthology and third-party vendors on upgrades, tickets, and improvements.
• Drive system enhancements using project management methodologies.
• Recommend technology solutions and system upgrades in collaboration with stakeholders.
Team and Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Lead and mentor SIS Administrators and support staff.
• Develop training and documentation for departmental users
• Act as SME for student data workflows, aligning system capabilities with strategy.
  • Regular, in-person attendance up to 5 days per week on campus/on site is an essential function of this position.
  • This role requires on-site collaboration with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required:
  • Bachelor's in Information Systems, Business, Higher Ed Administration, or related.
  • 7+ years in higher ed SIS management.
  • Deep Anthology Student SIS expertise.
  • Hands-on Financial Aid systems and Title IV experience.

Preferred:
  • Master's or equivalent experience in higher ed tech leadership.
  • Experience with SIS/CRM/LMS/ERP integration (e.g., Salesforce, Canvas, Workday).
  • Familiarity with SQL, APIs, SSRS, or Power BI.
