Job description

M&M Roofing is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman to join our team! As a Commercial Roofing Foreman, you will play a key role in leading a team of commercial roofing professionals in the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial roofing systems. You will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise a crew of commercial roofing technicians, ensuring they have the necessary tools, materials, and information to complete projects successfully.

Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee commercial roofing projects, including new installations, repairs, and maintenance, from start to finish.

Safety: Enforce and promote strict safety practices and ensure compliance with company and industry safety standards. Conduct safety meetings and inspections regularly.

Quality Assurance: Maintain a high standard of workmanship, ensuring roofing systems are installed or repaired with attention to detail and in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local building codes.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of commercial roofing experience, including 2 years in a leadership or foreman role.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in various commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques. Knowledge of local building codes and industry standards. Previous experience with the repair and maintenance on all roof systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope roofs. Experience with Leister Gun, B vent installation, and running brake to form metal required.

Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and guide team members.

Safety Focus: Commitment to safety and the ability to ensure a safe working environment. Follow OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety, demonstrating safe work practices

Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to plan and execute projects efficiently.

Certifications: Roofing certifications or licenses are a plus but not mandatory.
