Job description

Roofing Foreman & Service Technician

Full-Time Roofing Crew Leadership Position

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Roofing Foreman to lead and manage roofing crews on-site. This position is responsible for keeping projects safe, organized, productive, and completed on time while maintaining high-quality workmanship and clear communication with project managers, clients, and crew members.

Job Responsibilities

· Crew Management: Direct workers, assign daily tasks, and motivate the team to maintain strong productivity.

· Safety Control: Enforce OSHA rules, conduct safety meetings, and check job sites for hazards.

· Quality Control: Inspect roofing work to verify it meets manufacturer and industry standards.

· Communication: Update project managers, report daily progress, and communicate professionally with clients.

· Material Handling: Manage materials, tools, and equipment needed for each job.

· Oversee daily job-site operations to help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and with high-quality results.

· Trouble shoot & diagnose roof leaks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

· Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on roofing and crew leadership experience preferred.

· Safety Certifications: Valid OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour card preferred.

· Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy objects up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

· License: Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus.

· Technical Skills: Basic computer skills for tracking hours, notes, job updates, and reports.

· Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Clean, professional appearance required.

Schedule and Compensation

Hours of operation include Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays and occasional weekday evenings as needed.

Pay is an hourly wage based on experience and includes health insurance, commissions and bonus.
