Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Data Abstractor- Registered Nurse- Quality Management- Remote Opportunity.

In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for the collection, validation and submission of reliable data for various State and Federal Clinical Quality data bases and registries.

Job Responsibilities:

* Performs other duties as assigned * Responsible for the accurate and timely collection of data elements. * Reports data to appropriate agencies or data bases timely. * Develops reports to be utilized for quality reporting. * Works with members of the Quality Management department to identify needed data elements for abstraction and recommends design changes for clinical system build. * RepRepresents the Quality Management Department and works collaboratively with members of various clinical departments relative to quality improvement activities

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree Nursing. Current and valid NYS Registered Nurse License. 3-5 years Clinical experience as an RN providing patient care in an acute facility. Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, detailed oriented, analytical presentation, problem solving and multi-tasking skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Ability to interpret Data..

Required Licenses: Registered Nurse License-NYS

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree Nursing. American Nurses Association orHealthcare Information and Management Systems Society.
