Schedule: 1st shift, 8am to 5pm

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading organization in the energy industry to find a talented Assistant Electrical Detailer – Revit Modeler who is ready to contribute to the development of high-voltage substation projects that power communities and industries across the country.

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Electrical Detailer – Revit Modeler, you'll play a vital role in supporting engineering and construction teams by developing accurate 3D models and detailed construction drawings for high-voltage substation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain detailed 3D Revit models for substation projects.

  • Develop and revise 2D construction drawings that support engineering and field construction activities.

  • Produce substation layouts and model equipment arrangements.

  • Create models for basic systems including conduit routing, grounding systems, and cable routing.

  • Coordinate closely with engineers and project teams to ensure design accuracy and consistency.

  • Incorporate project revisions and feedback into models and drawings in a timely manner.

  • Verify that all drawings and models remain current, accurate, and aligned with project requirements.

  • Support fast-paced infrastructure projects through effective collaboration and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Drafting Technology or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of hands-on Revit experience, OR

  • Associate Degree in Drafting Technology or a related field and a minimum of 3 years of hands-on Revit experience, OR

  • High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 4 years of hands-on Revit experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of Revit experience required.

  • Experience using AutoCAD.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and work from construction drawings and engineering plans.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Important Note: Bachelor's degrees in Engineering disciplines are not eligible for this CADD-focused role. Internship experience does not count toward the required years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Drafting Technology or a related discipline.

  • 5+ years of hands-on Revit experience.

  • Experience supporting substation, utility, transmission, distribution, or other infrastructure projects.

  • Familiarity with high-voltage electrical systems and utility industry standards.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $37.00 per hour
