Job description

The Santa Maria Public Library has a volunteer opportunity this summer for 6 volunteers, 16 and older during our Lunch at the Library program, Tuesdays - Thursdays, June 16 – August 6,

  • For high school students
  • 2 volunteers each day to help serve lunch and assist with an activity
  • Training will be provided and the library will pay for each volunteer food handler's card
  • Library staff will conduct 3 career readiness workshops. The workshops will consist of resume writing, how to complete a job application, and interview tips and practice.
  • Applications will be accepted from April 13 - May 15 or until the positions are filled.
  • All volunteers need to pass a background check
  • All volunteers must provide proof of health insurance
