Job description

Volunteers play a vital role in supporting patients, families, and staff by extending the resources of our organization. Under the guidance of the Volunteer Coordinator, volunteers may assist with administrative tasks, patient visits, bereavement support, and other duties based on current needs. Activities may take place in the office, patient homes, facilities, or other locations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative support (phones, filing, data entry)
  • Patient visits and vigil care
  • Bereavement and emotional support
  • Office maintenance and other assigned tasks

Expectations
  • Professional, dependable, and courteous
  • Maintains confidentiality and respects all individuals
  • Willing to learn and take initiative
  • Basic computer skills helpful but not required

Requirements
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Completion of orientation and annual training
  • Flexible volunteer hours based on assigned activities
  • Supervision Volunteers report to the Volunteer Coordinator, who provides training, support, and performance evaluations.
