Job Summary Job Summary Chaminade College Preparatory seeks a dynamic, innovative, and engaging MATHEMATICS TEACHER with great classroom management skills for our high school campus (grades 9-12) in West Hills, California. The Successful Candidate Has experience teaching high school Mathematics through Calculus and will have delivered lessons that build students' mathematical understanding, improve fluency, build problem solving capacity and develop mathematical reasoning skills. Has proven experience of teaching contemporary skills that allow students to flourish in a diverse range of academic, professional, and cultural contexts. Knows how to design and implement engaging lessons that enable all students to succeed and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities Teaches five sections, where courses can range across all levels from Algebra 1 to Calculus. Under the supervision of the vice principals, teaches standards-based (California state and Archdiocesan) curriculum. The successful candidate will be willing and able to teach throughout the Math curriculum from Algebra through AP Calculus. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required. A master's degree in the subject area is preferred.
