Location : Phoenix, AZ metro area; hybrid working model
Duration : 6+ months Contract (with possible extension)


Job Description
We are looking for a Mainframe z/VM & Linux Engineer with 5+ years of experience supporting IBM Mainframe network infrastructure environments.
Responsibilities:
Administer and support z/VM and Linux on IBM Z environments.
Manage system performance, capacity planning, and upgrades.
Install, configure, and maintain Linux virtual servers.
Support virtualization technologies and automation initiatives.
Required Skills:
Hands-on experience with z/VM administration.
Experience supporting Linux on IBM Z.
Knowledge of virtualization concepts and performance tuning.
Strong troubleshooting and scripting skills.
