Job description

Adecco has partnered with a local Brighton machine shop recruiting for a Mill Machinist to start ASAP! In this role, you will be responsible for set-up & production of company's products within prescribed specifications and efficient machine operation.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

1. Operates production equipment to produce products in accordance with customer specifications, work order instructions, and quality procedures.

2. Completes equipment set-up's in accordance with customer specifications, work order instructions, and quality procedures.

3. Produces products in accordance with verbal and written instructions. Records operational or production data according to Company instructions.

4. Reads and interprets blueprints and other written specifications.

5. Inspects parts using specified gaging and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as required.

6. Able to use a variety of inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, Tri-check gages, Sunnen Bore gages, pin gages, height gages, comparators, and coordinate measuring machines

7. Checks finishes with use of comparison gages or scribes. Able to visually inspect product to meet customer requirements.

8. Performs basic metal finishing as required to remove loose burrs

9. Mark or secure products with proper identifying information ensuring lot control*

10. Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools & fixtures to designated areas. Performs basic machine maintenance (fluid levels, cleaning out, etc).

11. Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.

12. Notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.

13. Performs other related duties as assigned.

This role is paying $20-$30 based on experience and shift.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
