Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

This role supports experienced plumbing and HVAC technicians on commercial construction projects by assisting with material staging, basic installations, and general labor tasks. You will work closely with skilled tradespeople, learn the plumbing and HVAC trades on the job, and build a long-term career as a technician. The position is ideal for individuals with construction experience who are motivated to develop new technical skills and grow within the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist plumbing and HVAC technicians with day-to-day tasks on commercial construction job sites.
  • Stage and organize materials, tools, and equipment needed for plumbing and HVAC installations.
  • Use basic hand tools and power tools safely and correctly to support installation and construction activities.
  • Help with installation tasks related to plumbing and HVAC systems under the guidance of skilled technicians.
  • Perform general labor duties such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials and equipment.
  • Support the new construction department by completing assigned tasks efficiently and on schedule.
  • Follow safety procedures and site rules, including compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area on job sites.
  • Travel reliably to and from various commercial construction job sites as scheduled.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and drive to grow into a long-term plumbing or HVAC technician role.
