Job description

The Lab Technician provides basic technical and operational support to laboratory personnel. This entry-level role performs routine laboratory and clerical tasks under direct supervision while following established procedures. The Lab Technician handles basic issues independently and escalates more complex matters to higher-level staff.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0-2 years of laboratory, manufacturing, or related experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to accurately maintain records and documentation.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with standard office software.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively under direct supervision.
  • Provide basic technical and clerical support to laboratory personnel.
  • Collect samples from designated locations throughout the plant.
  • Clean, wash, sterilize, and distribute laboratory glassware.
  • Maintain laboratory supply inventory, place orders, and verify incoming shipments.
