You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity's dynamic working arrangement.

The work location for this role is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, when the work location will change to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway.

What You'll Be Doing

The Emerging Technologies Developer will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and deliver artificial intelligence projects and proofs of concept using traditional development platforms along with low-code / no-code tools.

This individual works with the Emerging Technologies Development team and internal stakeholders to identify and deliver automation to promote a more digital internal culture.

  • Lead the development, testing, and lifecycle management of automated processes that leverage various development approaches including traditional development and low-code.
  • Identify and evaluate new opportunities for the adoption of AI/ML technologies.
  • Build relationships with core business line leaders to develop a deep understanding of core business platforms and work collaboratively to integrate new automation and AI/ML offerings.

What We're Looking For

  • Completed College Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of technology and design experience in an agile environment
  • Experience with digital technology, relationship management, market research
  • UX/UI design experience, project management and software development is an asset

The Skills You Bring

  • Experience programming with a language such as Python, Java, Go, C, or developing applications with low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/RPA
  • SaaS and cloud-based solutions
  • Knowledge of rapid prototyping techniques, agile product development, and other product management practices

Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.

  • Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: A competitive annual range of $96,000 to $118,000, based on your experience and qualifications.
