Job description

The Gift Shop Associate is under the supervision of the Director of Volunteer Services or authorized designee and is responsible for serving the patients, employees, visitors, doctors and general public in a courteous and friendly manner.

EDUCATION:

High School graduate or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience desirable but not required.

SKILLS:

Ability to operate a cash register, handle numbers correctly, make correct change, promote merchandise, form a correct judgment and follow directions and policy. Must have a pleasing personality and be able to deal with the public in general and with the volunteers in particular.
