 About the Role

We’re looking for a dedicated Greeter to join our team and help us continue delivering the level of care our patients and families deserve. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our support team, ensuring excellent service, collaboration, and patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Serves as first contact for visitors in main or ED reception lobby assuming responsibility for activities such as providing patient information, directions, answering phones, maintaining cleanliness, responding to codes, and being alert to safety and customer service needs. 

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as Hospital ambassador to those entering and exiting lobbies with eye to providing excellent customer service.
  • Answer telephone professionally and courteously, transfer calls accurately, observe HIPAA during all interactions.
  • Follow, maintain, and support policies, procedures, and codes of Saratoga Hospital.
  • Know floorplan of Hospital and be able to direct and escort patients and visitors. 

  • Know off site (ie:59D Myrtle Street) offices and be able to solve questions for visitors/patients with patience and professional.

  • Engage in required and optional professional development opportunities as well as Hospital and department meetings.

  • Maintains open line of communications with supervisor regarding problems and/or suggestions.  Be active team member.

  • Perform required duties promptly and additional related duties as needed.

  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in alignment with Saratoga Hospital values
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support health, healing, and service excellence
  • Perform administrative & support responsibilities with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Use hospital systems and tools to document care and support operations
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and support patient and staff satisfaction
  • Serve as a positive, professional representative of our hospital and community

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1-2 years customer service experience preferred.
