Overview
School Group Greeter
Help welcome and serve as a first point of contact for school groups visiting OMCA! School Group Greeters make sure students, teachers, and chaperones feel welcome onsite by setting a positive tone, sharing Museum guidelines, and orienting groups at the start of their field trip.
Responsibilities
Your Role:
  • Welcome and orient our onsite school and/or public groups. Help to set expectations, and ensure that school/public group audiences feel a sense of belonging at OMCA.
  • This role primarily works outdoors.

Qualifications
Scheduling:
  • Wednesdays 9:30 am-12 pm
  • Thursdays and Fridays 9 am-12 pm
  • Minimum two shifts per month

Training requirements beyond OMCA volunteer orientation:
  • School group greeting orientation (2 hours).
