Job Description

About the role:

Waters Biosciences is looking for a bold, results-driven Global Product Marketing Manager to accelerate growth for our flow cytometry sample preparation and automation portfolio within the Instruments and Informatics Segment. This role owns downstream commercial execution, automation go-to-market strategy for the flow cytometry instrument portfolio, and strategic 3rd party automation partnerships-managing key external relationships to drive workflow integration and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Strategy & Market Development

  • Develop, own, and lead the global go-to-market strategy for flow cytometry automation and sample preparation systems

  • Build the automation marketing roadmap-segmentation, value propositions, positioning, and adoption targets

  • Forge and grow strategic 3rd party partnerships that drive workflow integration and commercial synergies

  • Serve as the primary liaison for external business partners, building trust and leading cross-functional collaboration

  • Equip regions to localize execution while maintaining global consistency

  • Own KPIs and dashboards to track program performance and market penetration

Downstream Marketing & Growth Execution

  • Drive downstream marketing strategy across all growth initiatives-including the FACSLyric flow cytometer portfolio-owning marketing strategy, driving growth and adoption, and expanding into new markets and customer segments

  • Craft differentiated messaging and positioning that resonates with key customer personas

  • Build and run multi-channel programs-digital, email, events, webinars-that generate demand and accelerate sales

  • Partner with regional teams to localize global campaigns for maximum local impact

  • Produce compelling customer-facing content-brochures, case studies, ROI tools, web content-that moves buyers through the funnel

  • Collaborate with growth marketing and marketing communications to unify strategy, messaging, and demand generation

Commercial & Regional Execution

  • Partner with regional leaders and sales to drive market penetration and revenue growth

  • Cultivate relationships with strategic customers and key opinion leaders to accelerate adoption

  • Shape long-range marketing plans that cement Waters Biosciences' leadership in flow cytometry automation

Competitive Intelligence & Market Monitoring

  • Build and maintain competitive intelligence frameworks - tracking positioning, launches, pricing, and market share

  • Turn competitive insights into sharp messaging, sales tools, and winning campaign strategies

  • Stay ahead of pricing and tender activity to keep commercial strategies competitive and regionally relevant

About you:

You thrive at the intersection of strategy, marketing, and creativity-and can turn market insights into high-impact commercial programs-this role is for you. The ideal candidate is an innovative, results-driven leader with strong analytical and communication skills, ready to build partnerships and accelerate growth.

  • Bachelor's in Life Sciences, Business, or related field

  • At least 5 years of marketing experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or scientific instrumentation

  • Flow cytometry and laboratory automation experience required

  • Proven track record building and executing global marketing programs that drive commercial results

  • Sharp analytical skills with the ability to synthesize customer insights into actionable strategies

  • Advanced PowerPoint, Think-Cell, Word and Excel proficiency. Experience with PowerBI, SFDC, and ServiceMax.

  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to turn complex data into clear executive narratives - comfortable influencing at all levels

  • Strong cross-functional leadership, change management, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

  • MBA or advanced degree in Immunology, Cell Biology or related scientific discipline
