Thank you for your willingness to serve as a volunteer in the Plum Borough School District. Your time and commitment help strengthen our schools and create a positive environment for our students. To ensure the safety and well-being of all children, all volunteers must obtain and maintain the following clearances:
Required VOLUNTEER Clearances
  • Act 34: Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check
  • Act 151: Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
  • Act 114: FBI Fingerprint Clearance

All clearances must be renewed and resubmitted every 60 months (5 years) to remain valid.
District Policy 916: Volunteers
  • The building administrator holds general authority and responsibility for all volunteers assigned to their school.
  • Volunteers are expected to comply with the same policies and administrative regulations required of District employees.
