Position Overview

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is seeking to hire an Accountant Advanced. The successful candidate, under the direction of the Accountant Supervisor, performs complex accounting and auditing functions for the department utilizing the contract payment system, a payment system for approximately 3,000 active contracts with payments totaling over $2 billion annually, the agency's accounting system and the Comptroller's system.
