Job description

Last year our HCA Healthcare colleagues invested over 156,000 hours volunteering in our communities. As a Medical Transport EMT with Research Medical Center you can be a part of an organization that is devoted to giving back!

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Medical Transport EMT will operate on the Research Medical Center Medical Transport Team. The primary duty of the EMT will be to assist the Paramedic in rendering safe and effective treatment and transport of HCA patients. The transport EMT will respond to Transfer Center requests, coordinate with other healthcare providers, and facilitate transport appropriately.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Completion of an accredited EMT program is required
  • Applicable State EMT Certification
  • BLS - American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Provider issued card required
  • FEMA - 100,200,700, 800 preferred
  • 16 - hour EVOC certificate
  • Pre-hospital emergency services experience preferred 
  • Cardiac monitoring preferred 

DRIVING RECORD:

This position requires driving an HCA owned vehicle. The candidate must provide a seven-year driving history from the Department of Motor Vehicles and have no more than six points on their record, with no indication of unsafe driving habits.
