As an EMT student intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience by assisting with patient assessments, performing basic life support procedures, and working alongside certified EMTs during emergency calls. These experiences are typically supervised, allowing you to apply classroom knowledge in real-world scenarios while receiving direct feedback. You'll also observe how EMTs interact with patients, document incidents, and collaborate with other first responders.
