Activities & Volunteer Coordinator - Lead Resident Engagement & Create Meaningful Connections
At Sunrise Senior Living, we champion quality of life for seniors. As Activities & Volunteer Coordinator, you'll lead resident engagement, volunteer services, concierge operations, and customer experience programs-creating connection, purpose, and well-being that drive resident and family satisfaction.
What You'll Do:
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate resident-centered engagement programs and events
  • Oversee activities, entertainment, and wellness programming across all neighborhoods, including memory care
  • Supervise team members, volunteers, and concierge staff
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and retain volunteers; build community partnerships
  • Track participation, satisfaction, and engagement metrics to improve programming
  • Manage engagement documentation, calendars, reporting, and technology platforms
  • Lead concierge operations, delivering exceptional experiences for residents, families, and visitors
  • Support budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and operational planning
  • Partner with Sales and Resident Care on move-ins and ongoing engagement
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and Sunrise quality standards

What You'll Bring:
  • 2+ years leadership/supervisory experience in senior living, hospitality, recreation, or volunteer management
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong organizational, communication, and event-planning skills
  • Experience with volunteer/engagement technology and reporting preferred
  • Sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for creating meaningful resident experiences
  • Valid driver's license, if required

23.70 - 29.70
