AboutTheRole

We are seeking a Decision Scientist for our growing Analytics practice. In this role, you will be working closely with clients' delivery teams from Marketing and Analytics, as well as the Concord delivery team of project leads, analysts, engineers, and data scientists. This is a client-facing consultant role with room to grow your career along one of the following tracks: technical data & analytics, account leadership, and/or management.
Theidealcandidatecombinesdeepanalyticalexpertise,businessacumen,andapassionforstorytellingwithdata. Youwillsupportclientsthroughdescriptive,prescriptive,andpredictivestages. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys being at the intersection of analytics, communication, and strategy. You’ll be expected not only to design and implement technical solutions but also to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, mentor junior team members, and manage projects with competing priorities.

WhatYouWillBeDoing
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.
  • Partner with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to define use cases and translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Optimize workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and feature engineering.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects to design cost-effective, high-performance data solutions.
  • Understanding of marketing analytics — preferably CRM or channel analytics
WhatWeAreLookingFor
  • 3+ years in the Data & Analytics space, preferably with consulting experience.Experience with project management is a strong plus.
  • Solid ability to translate between business needs and advanced analytic techniques. Our clients may be from Marketing, IT, or Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of SQL & Python.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written, and enjoys talking shop with others. Comfortable with both technically oriented and business-oriented audiences.
  • Ability to problem-solve in a dynamic, changing environment. Ability to gather requirements and generate Data Science & Engineering tickets as needed.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing responsibilities while delivering quality outcomes.
  • Track record of proactive, value-added contributions to internal and client teams.
  • Collaborating with high-performing cross-functional teams
  • A love for data, and sound belief in its possibilities.
