Job description

We are seeking a Data Specialist to join our team.
Starting Salary: $21.00 - $23.00 (Hourly) Part-Time
We are seeking a part-time Data Specialist to join our team. Your role is responsible for administrative support, including maintaining client records, data entry, and generating reports as needed for the Family Preservation management team. You will be responsible for uploading documents and entering data into the electronic management systems associated with Cornerstones of Care and the Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF). You must uphold strict confidentiality standards, demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills, and manage a wide range of sensitive records and documents from diverse sources and stakeholders. As a member of the Family Preservation team, you will work with other team members and report to our Director of Family Preservation Services.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Completes data entry and uploading of designated items into the Department of Children & Families and Cornerstones of Care electronic client management systems (i.e., KIDS & Avatar).
  • Organizes and maintains youth files, including client records, in accordance with the Department of Children & Families, the Accrediting body, and other governing directives.
  • Maintain court calendar, identifying schedule discrepancies, and any other court-related documents.
  • Audits client records using external and internal expectations laid out by Cornerstones of Care and the Department of Children and Families.
  • Prepares client files for the Department of Children and Families' requested audits and reviews.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of administrative experience and the following:
  • High school diploma is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft features, such as Word and Excel, is required.
  • Experience working with children and families is preferred.
  • At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
  • A valid driver's license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
