Job description

Cook Solutions Group, listed as a 100 Best Companies to Work for, is looking for a Full-Time Lead Installation Technician with excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills, a professional attitude and appearance, and the ability to integrate into our "We Make It Happen!" culture. We are looking for a seasoned tech with 7+ years of experience with alarm, video, and access control. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, installing wires and equipment, responding to service calls, conducting site surveys, performing installation startup, system commissioning, and customer training by performing the following duties.
Location: Reno, NV
Pay: $35+ hour, DOE
What you'll do:
1. Installs electronic and physical security products.
2. Installs and pulls wire as per specifications.
3. Accounts for all installation tools and equipment and all job parts and inventory.
4. Tests all installed/serviced equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance
with customers' requirements.
5. Communicates important project status information to management and customers as
necessary (installation or service).
6. Conducts site surveys upon request of management.
7. Completes and turns in all required paperwork in a timely manner according to
established procedures and deadlines, i.e., timesheets, expense reports, change orders,
equipment transfers, etc.
8. Maintains and controls assigned truck stock inventory in an organized manner.
9. Keeps assigned vehicle clean inside and out.
10.Coordinates and ensures vehicle is maintained according to established standards.
11. Responsible for training less experienced employees and trainees on company
procedures, systems, and installation/service techniques.
12.Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Education/Experience::
Proficient in alarm, video, surveillance, and access Control experience with Lenel and AMAG. Certification a plus, but not required. High School Diploma or GED equivalent; 7+ years related experience and/or training; equivalent military experience/training or combination of education and experience.Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
