Responsibilities
  • Support customer's technical staff to broaden technical capabilities through 3rd party contracts and internal partnerships.
  • Draft documentation and support the contracting process through SSJ, SOW, requirements, etc. products.
  • Foster communication between partners to ensure high quality products are delivered on-time and on-budget
  • Develop expertise in special areas and serve as a technical SME on designated topics
  • Secure approvals and conduct field tests of systems under development
  • Contribute to the approval process for the deployment of technical systems as technical SM
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagements, such as user requirements session
  • Lead technical efforts that support the O&M of deployed systems.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:   

  • Engineering degree, preferably Electrical degree with 7 to 20 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in systems engineering supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of complex technical developments involving hardware and software.
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting requirements, engaging 3rd party vendors, managing formal program reviews, generating test plans and guiding troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated experience with identifying and championing new technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with technical development on both very short and intermediate timelines.
  • Demonstrated experience with supporting the customers contracting processes.
  • Demonstrated experience with customer formal documentation systems and strong ability to draft technical documentation for different audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in hands-on-technical validation and testing of technical systems, including test plan development, testing coordination, and test report documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience with customer's approval processes for technical testing and system deployment.
  • Engineering or technical background with strong ability to apply technical domains of RF systems network infrastructure, communication protocols, quality standards, and manufacturing.
  • Willingness to travel both domestically and overseas to support development and deployment of technical systems (travel up to 10%).

  • Demonstrated experience with satellite communications/systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with computer networking.
