Job description

State Street Investment Management ("State Street IM") is seeking a Product Implementation Specialist, Vice President to join the Product Implementation team within the Chief Operating Officer (COO) organization. This is a hands-on role focused on operational delivery and launch of new investment products in close partnership with Product Innovation, Technology and Operations, Risk, Compliance, and our strategic partners and service providers.

The role is suited to a strong executor who enjoys working in detail across complex operating models, coordinating delivery activities, and progressing products from design through launch. The successful candidate will contribute directly to implementation workstreams and solution design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the hands-on delivery of new product implementations, supporting operating model design, readiness assessments, and launch execution.
  • Assess new product proposals against existing operational, technology, risk, and control capabilities, identifying gaps and required actions.
  • Support the definition and documentation of end-to-end product operating models, solution blueprints, and process flows.
  • Coordinate implementation activities across product, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and external service providers.
  • Track execution milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues, escalating as appropriate to senior team members or management.
  • Maintain detailed implementation plans, supporting governance forums and delivery reporting.
  • Support product launches through testing coordination, documentation readiness, and operational hand-off activities.
  • Contribute subject-matter expertise on fund structures, vehicles, and lifecycle events, including support for emerging product types such as digital or tokenized structures where relevant.
  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes, templates, and tooling based on execution experience.
  • This role is primarily delivery and execution focused, operating within established governance and direction set by senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • 8-15 years of experience in financial services, with practical experience in investment management product implementation, technology, operations, or change delivery.
  • Detailed working knowledge of investment fund structures and vehicles (e.g., mutual funds, trusts, ETPs, alternatives, interval funds).
  • Strong expertise in exchangetraded products, covering legal and fund structures, creation/redemption workflows, serviceprovider ecosystem, and regulatory and governance requirements.
  • Exposure to digital assets, tokenization, or technology-enabled product structures is beneficial but not required.
  • Experience contributing to operating model design, process definition, or complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong project execution skills, with high attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Clear, structured communicator, comfortable working with multiple stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment, managing multiple workstreams concurrently.
  • Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $188,750 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
