How will you fit in the big picture? What will you do?
The Senior Manager, Customer Sales Executive (CSE) - Amazon owns one of Hershey's most strategically critical retail partnerships, driving profitable growth across the Salty and Protein snack portfolios within the Amazon ecosystem.
Acting as a general manager for the channel, this role leads the development and execution of a 1-3 year joint business plan, combining category strategy, trade investment, data-driven insights, and integrated go-to-market execution to deliver mutual value for Hershey and Amazon.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own Profitable Growth: Deliver net sales, trade spend, and margin targets. Lead annual and long-range planning, conduct promotional analysis, and optimize trade investment decisions.
  • Lead Category Strategy: Serve as the authority on Amazon snack dynamics, translating insights into winning assortment, pricing, and shelving strategies across Salty & Protein.
  • Leverage Data & Insights: Utilize tools such as Vendor Central, Profitero, and IRI to generate insights, forecast accurately, and identify portfolio growth opportunities.
  • Drive Integrated Go-to-Market Plans: Partner cross-functionally with media, merchandising, and agencies (e.g., Flywheel) to deliver high-impact, customer-specific strategies.
  • Build Scalable Commercial Plans: Develop and execute holistic sales strategies across Amazon's complex distribution landscape.
  • Steward Financial Performance: Manage trade budgets with rigor, including deduction management and cost optimization to protect margins.
  • Strengthen Customer Partnerships: Build strong relationships across Amazon stakeholders and position Hershey as a preferred Salty & Protein partner.

  • Experience in CPG, ideally within Salty Snacks, Protein Snacks, or adjacent categories
  • Demonstrated success managing P&Ls, leading cross-functional teams, and operating in fast-paced environments
