THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Manager of Retail Paid Search to join our team and be part of strategic initiatives for several enterprise retail accounts, focusing on search execution within Amazon.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing paid search strategies that drive performance and growth. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with client objectives and deliver impactful results.You will deliver reporting, insights and projects in a timely manner and within budget plans supporting the team with flawless execution. 

  • You set a positive example and guide the growth of careers of junior team members alike.
  •  You demonstrate the ability to report and optimize client marketing campaigns within the Amazon retail media network, specifically within the Amazon Sponsored Ecosystem.
  • You will play an essential role on client teams to build and execute large-scale campaigns and tests that deliver on our strategy for the client.
  • You will also make recommendations on the alignment with Amazon and other retail media platforms, create roadmaps and work closely with your team and other internal teams to drive success for our clients.
  • You strive for strong communication and presentation skills and you are able to contribute to client presentations confidently.
  • You are directly supporting the expansion of our Retail Media practice within the Creative & Media team at DEPT within North America and globally within a team of 130 Retail Media specialists.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Develop & execute cutting-edge digital campaigns from conception to launch across platforms like Amazon (bonus if you have experience on Walmart and Target).
  • Manage and oversee executions and optimizations of your sponsored campaigns.
  • Develop, execute and oversee the appropriate account management monitoring and optimization techniques to drive performance toward client targets and budgets.
  • Qualify ideas from team members and prioritize initiatives that will have the greatest impact on account performance.
  • Own updates, monitoring, and communication of (daily/weekly) budget pacing and high level campaign performance.
  • Demonstrate and coach consistent time management skills, namely the ability to balance workload independently and prioritize based on impact & urgency. Hits project deadlines and communicates when it isn't possible.
  • Grow a thorough understanding of retail search, constantly embodying a "forever student" mentality.

QUALIFICATIONS  

  • A minimum of 3 years' paid marketing / ecommerce experience with
    • A minimum of 2 years' paid search experience  
    • At least 2 years of experience building paid search campaigns within the Amazon platform
    • At least 2 years of experience with client facing engagements with a consultative approach.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Vendor/Seller Central is required.
  • Proven track record of managing successful paid search campaigns for enterprise-level accounts.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Must possess proactivity, creativity, and enthusiasm; demonstrating you're eager to roll up your sleeves and be hands on, learn, and grow beyond your knowledge of eCommerce advertising.
  • Demonstrated consultative communication skills.
