Infection Control Nurse (LPN/RN) - Nashville, TN
A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Infection Control Nurse (LPN/RN) to oversee infection prevention initiatives and promote a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role is responsible for monitoring infection control practices, providing education, and supporting compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor, track, and analyze infection prevention and control data
  • Identify infection trends and recommend corrective actions when necessary
  • Conduct infection surveillance activities and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor staff adherence to infection control standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment and infection prevention measures
  • Provide education and training to employees, patients, and families regarding infection prevention practices
  • Support employee health initiatives, including vaccination programs, screenings, and monitoring activities
  • Stay informed of public health recommendations and emerging infection control guidelines

Qualifications
