About Us:
Impact Kids has been providing safe, fun, and meaningful enrichment programs for over 10 years, and today we serve students at public and private schools across the country. Students have a safe space to develop, learn, play, and most importantly, just be kids in our before, during, and after school programs!

Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced individuals to coach volleyball in a positive and inclusive environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a deep understanding of the fundamentals of volleyball.

This individual must be able to teach basic and advanced volleyball techniques, foster good sportsmanship, and encourage teamwork. A positive attitude and strong classroom and behavior management skills are a must. The coach should demonstrate excellent communication skills with both children and parents, using clear, concise, and grammatically correct language in all professional interactions with students, families, colleagues, and school staff.
A child abuse clearance and criminal background check are required.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children (e.g., academic tutoring, athletic coaching, youth mentoring, summer camps)

  • 1–5 years of volleyball coaching or relevant playing experience required

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required)

Essential Job Responsibilities:
The Volleyball Coach is responsible for the safety, supervision, and instruction of students participating in the volleyball program.

  • Lead age-appropriate volleyball practices, drills, and games for students in grades 1 – 8

  • Teach basic and intermediate volleyball techniques, rules, and game strategies

  • Foster a fun, supportive environment that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and confidence

  • Supervise and manage students with attention to behavior, safety, and engagement

  • Maintain consistent communication with parents, school staff, and the Impact Kids team

  • Use effective classroom and group management strategies

  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure high-quality programming

  • Serve as a positive role model and uphold the Impact Kids Code of Conduct

  • Exhibit Impact Kids Core Values and follow all company policies

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Must be willing to travel between schools and program sites. Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations and perform physical duties associated with sports coaching. Good physical condition is required to execute responsibilities effectively.
