If you are motivated, team oriented, and ready to say YES to an exciting career at Harvey Vogel Manufacturing, apply online today!Scope of the RoleThe Tap and Drill Setup/Operator supports production by setting up, running, and troubleshooting tapping and drilling equipment that produces sheet metal and fabricated components to customer specifications.Key responsibilities include setting up and operating tapping/drilling and related secondary equipment; installing and fine-tuning taps, drills, fixtures, and tooling; reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders; verifying hole size, thread form, and critical dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and thread gauges; completing in-process checks and documenting production/quality results; addressing tooling, machine, and part-quality issues; and performing routine preventive maintenance while following all safety procedures.Required qualifications/skills:- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail- Blueprint/drawing interpretation and basic computer record-keeping- Experience with measuring tools and sheet metal fabrication processesApply online today to be considered.How Your Day FlowsYou’ll start the day by reviewing the schedule and print package, then confirm the correct material and tooling are staged.
