Job description

Vogel Heating & Cooling is a locally owned, family‑run company that has been serving the St. Louis market for over 80 years. Our reputation is built on quality, trust, and long‑term customer relationships-and we're continuing to grow. To fuel that growth, we're adding a HVAC Sales Representative who thrives on prospecting, closing, and winning new business.

This role is built for a true hunter. You'll drive revenue by identifying and pursuing commercial, industrial, and institutional HVAC sales opportunities. You'll own your pipeline-from cold outreach and networking to closing deals-and work closely with our operations, service, and vendor partners to deliver smart, competitive solutions that meet customer needs and budgets.

Success in this role requires strong business development skills, confidence in front of decision‑makers, and the discipline to manage your pipeline and performance. If you enjoy negotiating, closing deals, and consistently exceeding sales goals, this role offers the autonomy, support, and earning potential to match your ambition.

We offer a competitive base salary for stability and an uncapped commission plan that rewards your results - not just your time. Top performers can earn $200k plus. Your income is in your hands, and we'll give you the tools, training, and opportunities to make it happen.

What We Offer
  • A Competitive base salary, with uncapped commissions
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
(Vogel covers 100% of the base medical and dental plan for employees)
  • Paid vacation, holidays, and sick time
  • Company‑provided vehicle, laptop, and cell phone
  • Ongoing product and cross‑training
  • Strong operational, service, and dispatch support
  • A well‑established brand with a loyal customer base
What You'll Do
  • Prospect and generate new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals
  • Sell solutions to commercial and industrial customers
  • Build and grow long‑term customer relationships
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver smooth installs and satisfied customers
  • Present accurate proposals and manage jobs through completion
  • Take full ownership of revenue growth and performance
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of B2B or commercial sales experience (HVAC preferred)
  • Hunter mindset with a proven ability to close
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and follow‑through
  • Comfort working in the field, including site visits
  • Valid driver's license and ability to be insured

If you're driven, competitive, and motivated by performance‑based earnings, Vogel offers the platform and support to win big.
