Pending Contract Award Position Responsibility Summary: Primary Function - Data Protection (PWS 1.16.8, 1.16.9): Develops and operates backup and recovery strategies across Cohesity, Dell PPDM, VMware Replication, and vSAN platforms, validating RPOs/RTOs IAW SLAs. Coordinates directly with the DR/COOP Planner during BCP testing and executes contingency activation procedures. Supports 24/7 data protection requirements

Cross-Functional Virtualization Backup (PWS 1.16.3): * Cross-trained in Windows/VMware and Linux/OpenShift administration to provide qualified backup to platform-specific Systems Administrators. Ensures an infrastructure-level understanding of the compute environments they are protecting, enabling routine VM snapshots, validation of persistent volumes, and system-level backups during maintenance windows. Creates a layered depth model preventing any single platform from losing coverage
