Job description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Security Technician with a minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering strong growth potential and a stable work environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with enterprise-level system integration, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems, along with strong IT and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities
  • Install and program CCTV, access control, and intrusion/fire alarm systems

  • Perform moves, adds, and changes for existing customer systems

  • Work closely with project management on assigned projects

  • Understand project scope and identify change orders when needed

  • Conduct on-site testing, inspections, and system validation

  • Train customers on system usage after installation or upgrades

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state, federal, and OSHA regulations

  • Maintain required certifications and pursue additional training as needed

  • Deliver strong customer service and maintain clear communication

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience installing and programming CCTV and access control systems

  • Hands-on experience with cabling, installation, testing, and troubleshooting

  • Strong understanding of low voltage systems and security infrastructure

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently

  • Willingness to travel as required

  • Valid driver's license

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with PDK, Bosch, Avigilon VMS

  • Certifications in Hanwha, Axis, or Bosch camera systems

  • NICET certification

  • Experience in programming and commissioning security systems
