What are VMI Managers?

VMI Managers, or Vendor Managed Inventory Managers, are professionals responsible for overseeing inventory levels and supply chain processes between a supplier and its customers. They manage inventory replenishment, ensure stock is available to meet demand, and optimize logistics to minimize costs and prevent stockouts or overstock situations. VMI Managers often use specialized software to monitor inventory in real time and work closely with both vendors and clients to coordinate order planning and delivery schedules. Their role is critical in improving supply chain efficiency and building strong supplier-customer relationships.
