Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our surgical center in Las Vegas, where you will collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and administrative personnel. Our facility is equipped with the latest medical technologies, allowing you to deliver exceptional care in a supportive and resource-rich environment. Expect a Monday to Friday schedule, with daily shifts of eight hours, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations to accurately assess patients' pain conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, administering medications and therapeutic interventions based on patient needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and specialists to maintain continuity in care, ensuring timely referrals when necessary.
  • Document all patient evaluations, treatments, and follow-ups meticulously in accordance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Educate patients and their families about pain management techniques, medication regimens, and lifestyle adjustments to enhance recovery and prevention.
  • Serve as a clinical consultant to nursing and paramedical staff, ensuring cohesive and informed patient care across the multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to discuss patient care outcomes and strategies for process improvement.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional ethical standards in all interactions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients experiencing a variety of pain conditions, ranging from acute injuries to chronic pain syndromes. You will interact with a diverse demographic, including individuals of all ages requiring tailored pain management solutions. Your role is instrumental in guiding patients through their recovery journey while fostering trust and empathetic communication.

Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Physician Assistant studies.
  • Current state Physician Assistant license, maintained in good standing.
  • National certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Proficient clinical skills in assessing and treating pain management cases.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, with a preference for Office Ally.
  • Strong diagnostic abilities and aptitude for critical thinking in patient care decisions.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in pain management or related fields is favorable.
  • Familiarity with interventional procedures and rehabilitation practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly with diverse patient populations.
  • Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred but not a requirement.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of $120,000 to $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
