Position Summary: 

Your role at The Joint Chiropractic will consist of you becoming a part of a team changing the face of chiropractic as we know it. You will be a trusted advisor and leader in your office and community helping us further our mission. We are on a mission to make routine chiropractic care more affordable and accessible in every community we serve. You will be serving in a high-volume practice where all exams are done efficiently and effectively, allowing you to serve more, safely. This position is designed for veteran and new doctors alike, as we create an environment where learning is constant and you have the support necessary to focus on what is important, serving every person who walks in with the desire to be on a path to wellness.

The Opportunity: 

  • Fulltime Salaried Role
  • Part Time to Full Time between multiple clinics available, please see website for opportunities. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated. 
  • Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine related conditions. 
  • Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary. 
  • Educate patients on the quality-of-life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment. 
  • Maintain accurate case histories of patients. 
  • Obtain and record patients' medical histories, as indicated. 
  • Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary. 
  • Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems. 
  • Patient chiropractic care and education 
  • Building positive doctor-patient relationships 
  • Maintaining accurate and timely patient records 
  • Sales of membership packages 
  • Provide consultations, exams, and treatment plans for chiropractic maintenance visits 
  • Provide high quality care and advice to each and every patient 
  • Enter chiropractic visits notes into electronic notes software 
  • Provide consultations, exams, and treatment plans for chiropractic maintenance visits. 
  • Ability to provide high volume of chiropractic adjustments daily 
  • Primarily utilizing diversified adjustments and drop tables 
  • Ability to educate patients on benefits of regular Chiropractic maintenance 
  • Ability to manage clinic staff (as necessary)

Full-Time Employees - Other Compensation & Benefits

  • Health Insurance: Chiropractors and above are eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
  • Other Compensation: This position is eligible for performance-based incentives and commissions related to the sale of membership packages.
  • Health & Wellness: Full-time employees (30+ hours/week) are eligible for group medical, dental, and vision insurance plans starting the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
  • Retirement: Employees are eligible to participate in the company 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Paid Vacation: Accrued per hour worked. Hourly managers with less than five years of service can accrue up to 120 hours (15 days) annually.
  • Oregon Sick Leave (OSL): Eligible to accrue and use sick leave for qualifying medical or safety reasons.
  • Paid Leave Oregon (PLO): Access to the state-mandated wage-replacement program for up to 12–14 weeks of paid family, medical, or safe leave.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements: 

  • Comprehensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, and neurology.
  • In-depth knowledge of musculoskeletal system disorders and treatments.
  • Proficiency in performing spinal adjustments and other chiropractic techniques.
  • Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and explain treatment plans clearly.
  • Active listening skills to understand patient concerns and symptoms effectively.
  • Ability to analyze patient conditions based on observations, medical history, and diagnostic tests.
  • Critical thinking skills to develop and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, stretches, and lifestyle modifications to support patient health.
  • Ability to educate patients on nutrition, exercise, and ergonomic practices.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in chiropractic care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain state licensure
