Title: Visual Studio C++ Developer
Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid Onsite)(Locals Only)
Duration: 12+ months contract
IV: Phone and Video
Visa: No H1b/CPT
MUST have strong financial domain and development skills.
Our client is seeking an adept Senior Developer proficient in Visual Studio C++ 2017, ASP, and SQL Server for Straight Through Processing (STP) in the Capital Markets domain. This role requires previous experience in the financial services industry, specifically Asset Management or Investment Banking, to swiftly acclimate to our environment and technology for timely project delivery to a premier investment manager.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 7+ years' experience as a Visual Studio Developer (VS C++ 2006/VS C++ 2017)
  • Proficiency in Unix, classic ASP, and SQL Server; exposure to Java and Visual Basic is beneficial
  • Strong coding, design, and debugging skills
  • Understanding of Trade Life Cycle and experience across SDLC phases
  • Advanced SQL knowledge, particularly in Sybase
  • Track record of delivering projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse business users and multiple Dev. Teams, including onshore/offshore developers
  • Experience with various testing approaches: Functional, Regression, Integration, and User Testing

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with Jira and PLM tracking
  • Experience in Production support
  • Proficiency in data mapping, Gap/Comparative analysis, and Report analysis
