Job description

Kravet, Inc., one of the leading international fabric and fine furnishings companies, is currently looking for a Visual Merchandising Coordinator to join our Corporate Showroom Merchandising Department in New York City. The Department seeks a self-motivated, highly organized individual for this position.
Kravet Inc. maintains 40 corporate showrooms in North America. The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Placing and tracking showroom sample orders for furniture, fabric, casegoods and accessories on our internal ordering system
  • Follow up with manufacturers regarding orders and production time
  • Coordinating freight/transport of showroom sample furniture, casegoods, rugs and accessories
  • Overseeing deliveries to regional receiving warehouses and showrooms
  • Working with a variety of vendors, sources and variables to meet installation deadlines
  • Managing records of projects past & present
  • Maintaining inventories

The preferred candidate should have computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel & Word, and should be extremely organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. In addition, strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative role
  • Ability to manage and meet deadlines
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to manage records and inventories
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
