Job description

About FLiiP:

FLiiP is revolutionizing fitness business management through our all-in-one SaaS platform. We serve commercial gyms and multi-location fitness operators with a powerful suite of tools that streamline operations, centralize communication, and improve member retention. With over $4M CAD in seed funding and a 4x growth target in less than two years, we're scaling fast across North America.

At FLiiP, we believe great design isn't just about how things look-it's about how quickly we can communicate, stand out, and build trust. As we scale our brand and content engine, we're looking for a creative force who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leverages modern tools (including AI), and can help us bring powerful ideas to life through visuals.

Role Overview:

We're hiring a Visual Content & Brand Designer-a next-gen creative who can flex across formats: static graphics, motion design, and video. This is a high-ownership role where you'll lead all visual content at FLiiP, collaborating closely with the CGO and our Content Marketing Manager to elevate our brand and supercharge execution across organic, paid, and product-facing content.

You'll be our first dedicated creative hire-so this is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to take full ownership, move fast, and build the foundation for what great design looks like at a startup with momentum.

This is a 100% remote role, based in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own All Visual Content Creation: Design and produce a wide range of content-from static graphics and illustrations to motion graphics, short-form videos, paid ads, landing visuals, decks, and more.
  • Evolve the FLiiP Brand: Maintain and expand our visual identity across channels. Contribute to a future brand refresh and help shape our next-gen design system.
  • Support Content, Growth, and Product Marketing: Collaborate with the content marketing lead and growth team to translate messaging and strategy into high-impact creative.
  • Leverage AI Tools to Move Faster: Use modern creative tools and AI platforms (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, Descript, B-roll generators, Figma plugins) to speed up workflows and maximize creative output.
  • Design Across Channels: Deliver assets for organic social, blog content, paid ads, lifecycle campaigns, and internal presentations-adapting creative for performance and channel fit.
  • Build Scalable Systems: Create templates, libraries, and lightweight brand guidelines to help the broader team move faster with creative consistency.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience as a brand designer, visual designer, or creative generalist-ideally within a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Portfolio that demonstrates range: strong fundamentals in layout, typography, and color, plus examples of motion design and video work.
  • Fluency with modern tools like Figma, Adobe CC, After Effects, Webflow, and recent AI-powered platforms (e.g., Runway, Midjourney, Descript, etc.).
  • Proven experience creating high-quality marketing content for growth, content, or paid media teams.
  • Ability to balance craft with speed-knowing when to polish and when to ship fast and iterate.
  • Experience collaborating with marketing and growth teams, and an understanding of how creative drives performance.
  • Strong communicator and autonomous builder-you'll be setting the tone for creative execution at FLiiP.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience leading or contributing to a brand refresh or rebranding initiative
  • Familiarity with growth-focused design principles (e.g., ad creative, CRO visuals, lifecycle assets)
  • Lightweight video editing skills using AI or hybrid workflows

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package
  • 100% remote-first work (Canada-based role)
  • Health & Insurance Benefits: FLiiP covers 50% of group plan premiums
  • A fast-moving, execution-first culture where experiments are welcomed and speed is celebrated
  • A high-leverage role with full ownership of your stack, strategy, and roadmap
  • A tight-knit team, direct collaboration with executive leadership, and the chance to shape a category-defining product

If you're a design-forward, AI-native creative who wants to own the look and feel of a company on the rise, we'd love to hear from you!
