Category: Marketing Status: Exempt Reports To: VP of Development Job Description The Corporate Director of Marketing is responsible for leading all property-wide marketing strategy and execution for Ellis Island Casino, Hotel & Brewery, with a primary focus on brand growth, guest acquisition, and revenue-driving campaigns across casino, hotel, food & beverage, brewery, and entertainment operations. This role oversees all non-gaming and property brand marketing initiatives while also supporting sales-related lead generation efforts tied to digital advertising, targeted lists, and inbound inquiries. The Director ensures qualified demand for group sales is generated through marketing channels and routed appropriately to operational leaders.

The Director partners closely with Casino Marketing to ensure alignment with gaming regulations, reinvestment strategy, and promotional calendarswhile maintaining cohesive messaging and visual standards across the entire property. Success in this role is measured by increased visitation, stronger brand recognition, growth in digital engagement, qualified inbound leads, and revenue lift across casino, hotel, and F&Bwhile preserving Ellis Islands identity as a value-driven, locals-loved destination. Candidates must be able to reliably commute or be prepared to relocate prior to their start date. Regular local travel between business units and properties is required. Responsibilities Marketing Leadership & Strategy Lead all property-wide marketing strategy and execution supporting: o Casino o Hotel o Food & Beverage outlets o Brewery o Entertainment venues and events Oversee the Marketing Manager and in-house Creative Team to ensure timely, high-quality execution of campaigns, signage, collateral, and digital assets.

Own and enforce brand standards and visual identity across all departments while allowing individual outlets to retain their unique personality. Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, maximizing ROI within a high-volume, value-focused operating model. Plan and execute integrated campaigns supporting seasonal promotions, casino initiatives, entertainment calendars, new menu launches, beer releases, and property-wide events.

Analyze campaign performance, market trends, and guest behavior to refine strategy and improve results. Digital Marketing & Lead Generation (Sales Support) Oversee digital demand-generation efforts including: Paid digital advertising Email marketing Targeted list campaigns Website optimization and SEO/SEM Social media and reputation management Ensure marketing channels generate qualified inbound leads for: Group inquiries Private events Hotel room blocks Promotions, tournaments, and special events Develop marketing collateral, landing pages, and messaging designed to convert interest into inquiries. Track and report on lead volume, source performance, and conversion trends.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure handoff and follow-up processes are clear and efficient. Continuously refine audience targeting and messaging to improve lead quality rather than sales volume. This role focuses on driving demand and pipeline through marketingnot direct selling, commission-based sales, or managing a formal sales team.

Casino Collaboration & Compliance Partner closely with Casino Marketing to ensure cohesive cross-promotion while respecting gaming regulations and brand boundaries. Coordinate message timing and promotional alignment across casino, hotel, and F&B to maximize total property visitation. Ensure all marketing initiatives follow internal compliance, approval, and regulatory standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with: o Casino leadership o Hotel Operations o Food & Beverage leadership o Entertainment and Events teams Support operational teams with campaign insights, performance reporting, and marketing recommendations. Maintain strong relationships with vendors, agencies, printers, and media partners. Skills / Experience Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Hospitality Management, or related field.

810+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, preferably in gaming, hospitality, food & beverage, or entertainment. Strong expertise in digital marketing, demand generation, and audience targeting. Proven experience leading creative teams and managing complex, multi-channel campaigns.

Understanding of the Las Vegas locals market; Strip experience a plus but not required. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and measuring ROI.

Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time throughout the casino and property. Must be able to move throughout all areas of the property, including back-of-house and public areas. Use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and radios as needed.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and varying temperature conditions. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds as necessary.
