Position Overview:
The Visual Communications Project Manager supports home office visual merchandising and the in-store/field visual merchandising team. Reporting to the Director of Visual Experience with a dotted line to the Director of Field Visual, the Visual Communications Project Manager will partner in creating the tools and training for our teams to successfully execute strong visual presentations in our stores. This role will:
  • Create and manage all visual communication documents
  • Maintain and update visual merchandising standards
  • Manage home office VM communication with cross-functional teams
  • Participate in and support monthly in-store floorsets
  • Support new store openings, relocations and renovations
  • Manage billing, invoicing, inventory and sample management as it relates to VM
  • Support and/or manage misc. department projects as needed
  • Maintain and evaluate VM team processes

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Visual Communication
  • Photograph, create, and manage: (Using Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp)
  • Monthly floorset documents
  • Monthly window documents
  • Monthly jewelry documents
  • Any and all other visual updates as needed - (e.g. how-to's, substitution guides)
  • Visual Merchandising Standards
  • Partner with Store Operations and Marketing teams as needed to ensure VM information is being communicated at the proper time and within the proper channels
  • Manage all email communication with the VM field team and individual stores regarding VM needs

Visual Merchandising
  • Floorset Preparation and Execution
  • Own calendar and scheduling of all prep meetings, floorset creation dates and cross functional involvement in the process
  • Manage and track samples, identifying and tagging all items prior to floorset
  • Organize transportation of samples to and from floorset and between other stores and the office as needed
  • Participate in monthly floorsets to understand merchandising objectives and directives for the month
  • Support buying in managing mark downs
  • Photograph final floorset and samples to create communication documents
  • Create, review and approve VM scenarios and alternatives as needed
  • Window Document Preparation and Execution
  • Assist with window and mannequin set-up
  • Photograph and edit as needed for documents
  • Other in-store merchandising set-ups as needed

Project Management
  • Support new and remodeled store projects and processes in partnership with VM Directors and the Store Design and Construction team
  • Build and manage all distribution lists for VM elements
  • Keep tracking documents updated and accurate as needed
  • Support in managing the VM home office budget, logging and tracking all expenses
  • Any misc projects as needed

Vendor Management
  • Build and manage all distribution lists for vendors as needed
  • Place orders as needed directly with vendors
  • Liaison between VM team, store teams and vendor partners
  • Manage project timelines and communication between Evereve and vendors for shipments to new and existing stores
  • Approve and track all invoices
  • Communicate with finance regarding invoices as needed

Requirements
Skills you will bring to EVEREVE:
  • 3-5 years of corporate visual communication and visual merchandising experience
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects
  • Ability to connect the dots and anticipate business needs
  • Highly collaborative but can also work independently
  • A demonstrated understanding of the apparel retail business and merchandising strategies
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and SketchUp
  • Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, fast paced and changing environment
