About the team + role
Our mission is to democratize finance for all. At Robinhood, we're building an exceptional team that's using frontier technology to tackle some of the world's most important financial challenges. We're looking for bold thinkers, sharp problem-solvers, and builders who want to make a real impact. This is a place where ambitious people do the best work of their careers. We move fast, set a high bar, and keep ethics at the heart of everything we do. Expectations are high-and so are the rewards.
The Product Creative team is a small but mighty group embedded within Robinhood's broader product design organization. We work cross-functionally with designers, product managers, engineers, and other creative teams to build and ship world-class product experiences, and uphold and evolve Robinhood's distinctive identity. Our team believes in raising the bar on visual craft while maintaining system scalability and cohesion across every touchpoint.
As a Visual Designer on the Product Creative team, you'll help define and shape Robinhood's product design language. This role is ideal for a highly experienced individual contributor who thrives on ownership, brings deep expertise in visual design systems, and collaborates with teams across the company to ship iconic, user-centric work. You'll work on high-impact product launches and the visual systems that power Robinhood's growing suite of products.
This role is based in our Bellevue, WA, Menlo Park, CA, and New York, NY offices, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.
At Robinhood, we believe in the power of in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community. Our office experience is intentional, energizing, and designed to fully support high-performing teams.
What you'll do
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including designers, engineers, and product managers to shape visual direction and ensure consistency across the Robinhood product suite.
  • Design and evolve aspects of Robinhood's design language - including icons, color schemes, and UI components across the product.
  • Support Robinhood's high-impactest product launches with strong attention to visual craft and storytelling.
  • Evolve our internal design system to be AI-ready and support new aesthetics and functionality.
  • Advocate for design excellence and provide mentorship through critique and shared best practices.
What you bring
  • 8+ years proven experience designing and evolving scalable design systems in a product environment.
  • Deep expertise in visual design and exceptional attention to detail across typography, layout, color, and composition.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and advocate for design decisions across teams.
  • Mastery of design tools such as Figma, plus experience with generative AI design tools (e.g., MidJourney, Lovable, Magic Patterns, etc) is a plus.
  • Experience navigating complex stakeholder environments and balancing design rigor with business needs.
What we offer
  • Challenging, high-impact work to grow your career.
  • Performance-driven compensation with multipliers for outsized impact, bonus programs, equity ownership, and 401(k) matching.
  • Best-in-class benefits to fuel your work, including 100% paid health insurance for employees with 90% coverage for dependents.
  • Lifestyle wallet - a highly flexible benefits spending account for wellness, learning, and more.
  • Employer-paid life & disability insurance, fertility benefits, and mental health benefits.
  • Time off to recharge including company holidays, paid time off, sick time, parental leave, and more!
  • Exceptional office experience with catered meals, events, and comfortable workspaces.

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.
