Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Designer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will develop audio visual technology system designs for construction project types, including professional businesses, churches, concert venues, athletic complexes, educational buildings, and senior living facilities. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and clients to create detailed design documents that support the integration of advanced AV technologies in buildings.

Key Responsibilities

Design audio-visual technology systems for commercial building projects.

Develop audio-visual system layouts, including AV racks, sound reinforcement, video displays, and AV control systems.

Review shop drawings and construction documents for accuracy and compliance.

Assist with the commissioning of AV systems, including speaker tuning, performance device setup, network configurations, and user interface programming.

Conduct site visits for field investigations and project assessments.

Collaborate with clients, project teams, and other design professionals throughout project phases.

Manage multiple projects at various stages simultaneously.

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years of experience in audio visual system design for commercial buildings is preferred.

Proficiency in Revit software is preferred but not required.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or within a team.

Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Certifications such as AVIXA CTS, CTI-D are a plus but not required.
