Job Description

Location: Ohio & North Carolina



RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform Coding in Visual Basic, SQL, or CAA to access CATIA/Enovia Objects; 

2. Writing code to automate engineering processes for several design teams/areas. May utilize KWA/KWE or Enovia catalog tools to accomplish.  

3. Collect and analyze customer needs. 

4. Participate in the identification and application of solutions.  

5. Define deployment methodologies and technical specifications  

6. Integrating, debugging, developing and maintenance of applications developed  

7. Mentor and support other team members.  

8. Design applications that work together to produce desired product and to ensure that performance guidelines are met  

9. Assist in the transition from application development to support.  

10. Work with product development teams and senior designers to develop requirements to ensure client satisfaction with product.


Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Information Technology

2. 5 yrs. relevant exp. or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Information Technology, or Business Administration and 2 yrs. relevant exp.

OTHER SKILLS DESIRED

1. 2 years of experience with automotive VB or SQL development projects and KWA, KWE, and/or Catalog building in CATIA/ENOVIA V5; 

2. Hands-on experience with HTML, Visual Basic (VB), and SQL.  

3. Good written and verbal communication skills. 

4. Good analytical and problem solving skills for design, coordination, and testing of applications.  

5. Solid understanding of relational databases; 

6. 2 years automotive experience desired.
