Direct Counsel is seeking a Visiting Attorney to join a premier international law firm in New York. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys seeking exposure to sophisticated legal matters while working alongside leading practitioners in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

The Visiting Attorney role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-level legal work across a variety of practice areas, supporting complex matters for major corporate, financial, and institutional clients.

Responsibilities
  • Support attorneys and legal teams on complex client matters
  • Conduct legal research and analysis
  • Draft memoranda, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents
  • Assist with due diligence, case management, and transaction support
  • Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups
  • Participate in client-facing matters and strategic legal projects
  • Manage assignments efficiently while maintaining high-quality work product
Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
